Welcome to The Best of Times Films! My name is Elizabeth, and I am a wedding videographer based in Cardiff, South Wales. With over 8 years of experience capturing unique love stories, I am passionate about creating cinematic wedding films that you will treasure for a lifetime.

Originally from the Netherlands, I have had the honor of working with over 150 wonderful couples throughout Europe, including in Belgium, France, Italy, and now UK. As a South Wales based wedding videographer, I specialise in capturing the magic of your big day in a truly cinematic way.

MY STYLE

As a wedding videographer, I love creating engaging, timeless films. I like to think that they will still hold up in 10 or 20 years with their natural balanced colours and smooth editing style. Each couple and each story is unique. There is no one recipe to making a great film to fit all. That is why my films are individually tailored and story driven. I believe in a documentary style of filming. I don’t direct (unless of course asked to) and simply let you do what naturally comes to you. This is the only way for you as your wedding videographer to truly capture so many genuine emotions that come up on a day like this. A nervous laugh, a proud glance and of course the triumphant “I DO!”.

My films are a healthy combination of technical know-how and creativity.

EQUIPMENT

I am often asked about the types of cameras I use. I try to film as discreetly as possible. That’s why I have invested in downsizing in the last couple of years. At the moment my camera of choice is Sony A7sIII. It is a small, yet powerful camera, that in combination with various lenses can produce beautiful imagery, even when the light circumstances leave much to be desired.

Your wedding day is a blur of excitement and emotions, and it can be hard to take everything in. With a wedding film, you can relive the magic of your special day over and over again. I offer comprehensive wedding film packages that cover every moment of your wedding day from getting ready in the morning to opening your dance floor in the night, party and of course everything in between. I am dedicated to creating in-depth wedding films that tell the story of your love and your special day. As a wedding videograher I don’t simply create a montage of events as they unfold. I tell your unique story by combining the most powerful shots, most flattering takes (after all everyone wants to feel like a star for a day), and most powerful bits of dialogue into a unique cinematic film. In addition you will receive your full ceremony and speeches as a separate film!
